McDonald’s Social Media Partnership
with California State University
We created our own real-life Gifs to promote California State University's network wide "Food and Book Giveaway." We worked with food stylists and a prop house (yes those are real Egg McMuffin headphones) and shot the whole thing in studio.
We used the Gifs as a gallery series on Instagram, posting across 7 different CSU university pages, prompting student on each campus to show us how they do Mickey D's.
It turned out pretty different than what we normally do as a regional McDonald's agency, and showed us that social media is a great place to push our client outside their comfort zone.
